The village
Tapia de Casariego is a fishing village located in western Asturias. Several poets have known it as the "Bride of the Wind" or "The smile of Biscay." It can also be defined using these words: land, sea, clean air, clear water, mountains, coastal and inner routes, vantage points, lookouts, daily and nightly atmosphere with pleasant chats around the sea, delicious food, friendly people ... .. All these things and some others define Tapia.
